I like to explore orchestrated and dynamic developmental processes, which I regard as chapters written by nature to make species exist and evolve. I also enjoy reading and playing the violin.

Shuyu Wang

I am a friendly, patient and careful person from Inner Mongolia. I majored in Biotechnology at Northwest A&F University before I joined the Song lab. I am now interested in studying stem cell biology and hope to have fun with the flies. In my spare time, I enjoy reciting and writing.

I really enjoyed every moment I spent with the Song Lab members. Song Lab is where I developed my enthusiasm for cell biology and also the place where I obtained unparalleled scientific training. After graduation, I am going to pursue the biology Ph.D. degree at Harvard University. I hope in the future I could play harder, work harder and also dream harder.

Yuchun Wang

I am an undergraduate student in the School of Life Sciences, Peking University. I’m interested in developmental biology and cherish every minute I have spent in the Song lab.

Siyang Li

I am Siyang, a junior student in the School of Life Sciences, Peking University. I am interested in figuring out how neural stem cell fate decisions are made during fly development.

Zelin Wei

I come from Changsha, the city of star. Being attracted by Dr. Song’s elegant temperament, I joined the Song lab as an undergraduate from the School of Life Science, Peking University in 2017, and enjoyed the research atmosphere here a lot. I wish that I can go further on the way of scientific study and become a competent researcher as the senior graduate students do here!

Chenlei Hu

I am always amazed by the precise regulation in the cells and the regulatory principles behind them. I really enjoy the time spent in the Song lab and get along with those little flies pretty well. I hope I can learn more and enrich myself here!
